HP Pavilion x360 14 ba150 2 in 1 _ 2PN49EA
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi, I have a HP Pavilion x360 - 14-ba150sa and I am looking to upgrade from 4gb Ram to 8gb Ram.

Is it one slot (i:e I need to buy 8gb of memory bank), or is it two slot and I can buy 4gb of memory bank and add that to the 4gb of ram that came with the 2 in 1 laptop thus taking it up to 8gb.

Also what type of memory bank would I need to purchase?

I note from the model specs that it comes with:-

Memory, standard
4 GB DDR4-2400 SDRAM (1 x 4 GB)

Many Thanks

Dave

Hi GBL84,

Thanks for your prompt response.

When looking at purchase, it is offering me a single rank or dual rank. I am looking at adding an 8gb to the 4gb that came with the laptop.

Would this be anything to do with the amount of memory slots?

I believe that the HP Pavilion x360 14-ba150sa has 2 slots, would that be correct.

Regards

Dave

Hello @DaveCk,

Your PC has 2 Memory Slots. You can either add 8GB to the existing 4GB and make 12GB in total

Or

Add another 4GB to the existing 4GB and make 8GB in total

Part numbers :

Memory modules (2, DDR4-2400, 1.2-V; does not include memory bracket):

8-MB 862398-855

4-MB 862397-855

2-MB 864271-855

The memory module spare part kit does not include the memory module shield. The memory module shield is available using spare part number 925378-001.

HP does not have this memory for sale in its Part Store.

This memory will work:
