I see you need help in upgrading the SSD, onHP ENVY dv7-7212nr Notebook. Don't worry as I have a few suggestions which should help you.

After reading your post, I did go through the Product specifications of your product and found that you have 1 750GB 7200 rpm SATA hard drive and 32GB solid-state drive cache installed on the PC.

To get the answer to this question, Yes! it supports 180-GB or 160-GB drive.

180-GB solid-state drive part number 699330-001 and 160-GB solid-state drive part number 681997-001

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
