I want to upgrade the motheboard with a faster CPU.
Can I use this motherboard: HP 15.6" 15-r 15-r082nr i5-4210U Motherboard LA-A992P REV 1.0 760968-501 GL
Can I use any HP 15-r motherbard?

There is a list of motherboards for the series on page 66 of the second last manual on the following link
https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-15-r000-notebook-pc-series/6875200/manuals
Buying new motherboard in this case you may have t nuy different RAM and new charger .... in short, buying new machine.
And buying new machibe would be cheaper than upgrade components separately.
Regards.
