upgrade processor on HP Pavilion

Product: HP Pavilion Notebook - 15-ab143cl (ENERGY STAR)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I would like to upgrade my processor which is a 

AMD A10 Extreme Edition Radion R8, 4C + 8G 2.00 GHz.

I am wondering if this is possible or would I have to replace the whole motherboard as well?

Would be nice to turn this slow 2.00 GHz processor and graphics combo into something more.

What would you recommend? Maybe get it up to 3GHZ at least?

Hi:

 

The processor is an integral part of the motherboard and you would need to replace the motherboard in order to upgrade the processor.

 

The problem is you already have the best processor that HP offered in that model series according to chapter 3 of the service manual...
