Regards to all. I own a Pavilion Power Laptop 15-cb006nl, product number 2GG43EA # ABZ equipped with motherboard 836B 46.24, operating system W10. Currently I have 2x8gb of Ram Samsung ddr4 2400. I would like to know if I can replace the ram with 2x16gb and then get 32gb overall? Thanks a lot!!!

Hi:
Every source I could find such as the Crucial memory site and the service manual indicate the max is 2 x 8 GB of DDR4-2400 memory.
However, your notebook has an Intel i7-7700HQ processor, and it should support 2 x 16 GB of memory.
If you look at the processor specs below, it shows it can support 64 GB of memory (that would be with 4 memory slots).
Intel® Core™ i7-7700HQ Processor (6M Cache, up to 3.80 GHz) Product Specifications
If you look at any of the other Kaby Lake non-HQ processors, they all support 32 GB of memory (that would be with 4 memory slots).
Intel® Core™ i7-7500U Processor (4M Cache, up to 3.50 GHz ) Product Specifications
While I cannot guarantee that 32 GB of memory will work, it should.
What you could do is to put one toe in the water, buy a 16 GB DDR4-2400 memory module, add it to one of the 8 GB memory modules and if the PC boots up, works fine and reports 24 GB of memory, then you can go the distance and add the second 16 GB memory module.
This would be a compatible 16 GB memory module to experiment with.
