Hi,

The max RAM mentioned in the service manual is 12GB of DDR4 2400MHz.

However your PC will support up to 32GB of RAM (2x16GB).

At the moment you have one stick of 8GB and one empty slot. So you can buy another stick of 8GB and insert in the empty slot. On page 43 of service manual you can see the steps to install the RAM:

Dear David, 

I want to buy HP Pavilion x360 14-cd0008na Convertable Laptop 2018 model.

As stock specification it comes with 8GB RAM and quad core i5-8250U @ 1600 MHz.

Does this laptop have two slots for RAM and can it be upgraded to 32 GB RAM (2X16GB) 2400-MHz

Will i have a problem with the bios after upgrading if it is possible ?

I have seen your previous post and the technical manual i know it said it can support 12 GB of RAM, but can it support 32 GB RAM ?

I read your post and you said it can support it but it was for a different model laptop similar to the one i want. 

Can i also upgrade the cpu to core i7 - 8565U or i7- 8650U ?

Both cpus have TDP of 25w so cooling will be the same as the stock 25w cpu i5 -8250U the difference is the Mhz from the stock 1600 MHz to 1900 MHz.

Yes, the reply is the same as above regarding the RAM and also uses the same service manual.

Now, you can not upgrade the CPU as it is soldered to the motherboard. So you need to purchase with the desired processor from the start. From the service manual on page 1 we can see that some models in that series have the i7 processor.
