Hi:

For best performance install 2 x 8 GB.

Memory doesn't run in the higher performing dual data rate mode when it is installed in mismatched capacities or a memory slot is empty.

Will my Hp pavilion 15bc021tx supports 2 x 8 gb ram ? If yes, which ram should I buy for upgrading?

Please Help.

Hi:

Below is the link to the Crucial memory/SSD report for your model.

I selected the India website so you can see where you can buy the memory from.

https://www.crucial.in/compatible-upgrade-for/hp---compaq/pavilion-15-bc021tx

The kit I recommend for your notebook from that report, is this one...

https://www.crucial.in/memory/ddr4/ct2k8g4sfs824a/ct10798249

Your PC can only run the memory at 2133 MHz, so there is no point in buying faster memory that 2400 MHz.
