Hello guys....i just got my laptop; HP Pavilion Gaming laptop-ec150024ax, its already have a sufficient amount of ram which is 8gb, but to face the upcoming issues i thought of upgrading the ram on my own, does that in any way affect my system's warranty.. i also many reviews my friends like the people in the service centre might sometimes void the warranty if i go for upgrading my system....

Start on p. 27 of the Manual here:
Memory upgrade is in the Customer section so is permitted without affecting warranty. Generally true of all HP laptops but in this case there can be no doubt. Memory is DDR4-3200 SO-DIMM. Manual says 8 times 2 or 16 gb is the max but it would run 2 x 16 = 32 gigs.
Modules of various sizes available at the above link. Don't try to install "performance" or "gaming" or Hyper-X memory. Won't improve performance and may not be compatible.
