OMEN 16.1 inch Gaming Laptop PC 16-c0000 (2W4Q0AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

Dear all,

I would appreciate to inform me what is the best solution or your proposal  about the amount and  type / kind of ram that can be installed  in order to upgrade the existing ram on my hp omen laptop.

The model is: OMEN by HP Laptop 16-c0013nv

product id:  (6E1H7EA) # AB7

The factory set up ram which is installed in the moment is 16384 MB (in 2 slots)

Do you think that this upgrade is going to help the system  in any case?

Thank you in advance for your answers.

Hi:

Below is the link to the service manual for your notebook:

Maintenance and Service Guide

The memory upgrade information can be found in chapter 1.

2 x 16 GB of DDR4-3200 CL22 memory is supported.

As far as an improvement in performance...it depends on what you use the notebook for and how much free memory is available when you are doing more than surfing the web or checking e-mails.

You can run the Windows system resource monitor application when you are doing something like playing a video game and see how much free memory is available out of the 16 GB.

If there is more than 50%, then installing 32 GB of memory may not make a big difference in performance.

As far as what memory to use...most folks use Crucial memory but that is up to you.  Just make sure it is 3200 MHz CL22.

Crucial 16GB DDR4-3200 SODIMM | CT16G4SFRA32A | Crucial.com

Maybe you can find that part number for less money on Amazon if Amazon is available to purchase from in Greece.

Dear all ,

I am finding the same product code of crucial ram with one difference :

2Rx8 or 1Rx8

Which I suppose that is a different quantity of chips on the ram sticks

What should I go for ? Is there any difference ?
This is not mentioned as a specification from hp

thank you in advance ,
