Hi:
Yes, the notebook has a free memory slot to add additional memory.
Your notebook should support up to 2 x 16 GB of memory.
You can do this to see how much memory your notebook can support:
1. In the search box, search for cmd and click Run as administrator.
This will open the command prompt.
2. Once command prompt is opened, type wmic memphysical get maxcapacityEx and hit enter.
There, it will show the maximum RAM capacity your PC's motherboard can support.
The capacity is shown as Kilobytes, so you have to convert it to Gigabytes by dividing the number provided in the report by 1,048,576.
HP does not have a service manual for the 15s-eq2000 model series yet, but here is the manual for the older 15s-eq0000 model series which may help you take the notebook apart to upgrade the memory.

You're very welcome.
Since the notebook came with 8 GB of DDR4-3200 memory, I recommend you install a second 8 GB DDR4-3200 memory chip, so the memory runs in dual channel mode.
If you install a DDR4 memory chip, the memory will only run in single channel mode like it is now.
This compatible memory chip should work fine in your notebook along with the memory HP installed.
