Good evening Everyone!

I have a little problem on my 8560w

on the right side i have 2 usb 3.0.

one is working correctly, the other one is give me problems with usb 3.0 devices.

I try to explain my problem.

-if i connect any device with an usb 2.0 cable, everything is working good

-if i connect my WD passport 2.5inches with usb 3.0 cable is working but the system suggest to plug into an usb 3.0

-if i connect my WD my book 3.5 inches or others 3,5 external drives with usb 3.0 cable, sometimes work like 2.0, sometimes is not working at all, and if i connect with an usb 2.0 cable is working (in 2.0 speed)

i've tryed different hard drives, and many differents cables.

Do you have any suggestion?

i don't think is the driver, because the other port is working well in any condition

thank you in advance.

Adriano

Hello again.

i want to give you a little additional information.

3 days ago everything was working fine, the 2 ports were working correctly and the average transfer speed was around 100mb/s between the 2 hard drives

now, the speed on the port that is working is around 65 mb/s

yesterday i've moved my laptop while tranfering file (just pulled up 10 cm to remove a sheet that was below) and the usb has disconnected and reconnected back..

i can't figure it out what happened

if i try to reboot with the drive plugged the system won't start up. i've to unplug the devices and then reconnect.

thanks in advance

adriano
