i purchased a hp cd writer iin year 2000 when i was in Atlanta i lost the usb cable connects to pc need to kno what is name of usb cable used and can i get compatbble in india

For the HP CD Writer series, such as those released around the year 2000, the typical connection to a PC would have used a standard USB cable, likely USB Type-A to USB Type-B, which were common for devices like CD/DVD writers at that time.

 

You can find a compatible USB Type-A to USB Type-B cable at most electronics stores. These cables are widely available and should be easily accessible in India. Make sure it is a USB 2.0 cable for optimal performance.
