@Dragoser, Welcome to HP Support Community,
Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue
Check Device Manager:
- Press Windows + X and select Device Manager.
- Expand the Universal Serial Bus controllers section.
- Look for any device marked with a yellow exclamation mark, indicating a driver issue.
- Right-click on each USB device and select Update driver.
USB Controller Reset:
- Shut down the laptop completely.
- Disconnect all peripherals.
- Remove the power adapter.
- Press and hold the power button for about 10-15 seconds to reset the USB controller.
- Reconnect the power adapter, and turn on the laptop.
Scan for Hardware Changes:
- Go to Device Manager.
- Right-click on your computer name at the top and select Scan for hardware changes.
BIOS and Firmware Update: Ensure your BIOS and firmware are up-to-date.
- Visit the HP Support Page for the Victus series to check for available updates specific to your model (76T03AV).
Also, I suggest you perform a CMOS reset.
Reset the CMOS on consumer notebooks
To perform the CMOS reset with the key-press combination, perform the following steps.
Plug in the AC adapter.
Turn off the computer and wait for at least five seconds.
Press and hold the Windows key + v key-press combination.
While pressing the keys, press and hold the power button for at least two seconds but no more than three seconds.
Release the power button, but do not release the Windows key + v key-press combination until the CMOS Reset screen is displayed and/or you hear beeping sounds.
At the completion of a successful CMOS reset, a message similar to the following is displayed. This is confirmation that the CMOS values have been reset. The unit restarts, and then you can access the BIOS and UEFI Diagnostics.
