Hi,

Please run the tests

Manual: Page 14-17, 41
http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c04763031

Specs: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c04754353

USB 3.0 (2 on right side)

This ports are soldered to the motherboard. If this has failed, you've to replace motherboardunfortunately, which is a very expensive affair for a USB fail.

Hi,

What is the exact product number, model name of your laptop?

Which side ports are not working?

Did you perform USB port hardware component test from System Diagnostics UEFI?

on the right side, one of the two. The one that is not working has the lightning bolt and the ss logo next to it.

I have not run the component test
