Bonjour,
Je possède un HP Victus 16-e0053nb, numéro de série >Do not include the product serial number or any private information<.
Bastien Michel
Subject: USB-C Charging Compatibility Inquiry – HP Victus 16-e0053nb (S/N 5CD2070LFL)
Dear HP Support,
I own an HP Victus 16-e0053nb laptop (Serial No. >Do not include the product serial number or any private information<).
I would like to confirm whether this model officially supports charging via the USB-C port using USB Power Delivery (PD).
If yes, could you please specify:
– the maximum supported power input (for example : 20 V / 5 A = 100 W)
– and whether USB-C charging works while the laptop is powered on, or only when it is turned off?
Thank you very much for your assistance.
Best regards,
Bastien Michel

Hello Bastien4658.
The MANUAL for your system lists available ports and their specifications on page 2 and 3. The USB-C port does NOT have power delivery capabilties. Page 3 also lists Official HP chargers given for this gaming laptop. Only standard barrel type chargers are compatible. Therefore, this model does NOT officially support USB-C charging.
