The system has been shutting down when the battery level gets down to only 60%, which leads me to think that it's time for a battery replacement. The keyboard has a bunch of worn keys, so I am looking to replace that as well (it's the Russian keyboard, that has Latin characters as primary and Russian/Cyrillic on the bottom right), and while I'm at it, add 8 GB of memory to the current 8 GB.
My plans are to get this battery @ Amazon:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07R1Q3YQR
I'm still looking for the keyboard (any ideas? I'm currently outside Russia, and with COVID around, it might be a while). Perhaps this would work:

I'd also be interested in a memory product sold at Amazon as well.

@swampwiz Welcome to HP Community!
I understand that you would like to replace the battery.
The battery part is not a user-replaceable part. I would suggets you conatct our phone support and check for the support option. They will help you.
Or you can conatct local service center for repair.
Here is how you can get in touch with phone support.
1)Click on this link - www.hp.com/contacthp/
2)Select the product type.
3)Enter the serial number of your device or select let HP detect your product option.
4)Select the country from the drop-down.
5)You should see the HP phone support number or Chat option listed.
We are experiencing longer than expected wait times to reach an agent due to the CoViD-19 impact and there might have been issues in you getting the expected resolution on the issue.
Keep us posted,
