Hi @Gk_Aasish

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.

HP locks Advanced Mode BIOS settings on standard consumer laptops, including the HP 15-e2000, which prevents manual changes to VRAM allocation

This means the BIOS option you see in YouTube tutorials is only available on high-end gaming or workstation laptops, not on basic models.

Ways to Increase Usable VRAM

Check Automatic VRAM Allocation

  • Open Task Manager (Ctrl + Shift + Esc)PerformanceGPU.
  • See if Shared GPU Memory is being used—Windows dynamically adjusts this based on demand.

Update Graphics Drivers

  • Open Device Manager (Win + X → Device Manager) → Expand Display Adapters.
  • Right-click your GPUUpdate driverSearch automatically.

Optimize RAM Usage to Improve VRAM Sharing

  • If your system has 8GB or more RAM, Windows will allocate more shared VRAM.
  • Close background apps to free up RAM, improving GPU resource distribution.

Use an External GPU (For Heavy Tasks)

  • If you're running demanding software (gaming, CAD, video editing), an external GPU (eGPU) via Thunderbolt can help.

Unfortunately, if your BIOS doesn’t allow VRAM changes, your best option is memory optimization or a hardware upgrade

Let me know if you need help checking GPU limitations!
