HP Pavillion gaming 16.1 with i7-10750h, Windows 10 Home.
With virtualization turned on in BIOS, VT-x is not available in the Intel instruction set (CPU-z and Intel Processor Identification Utility).
With virtualization turned off in BIOS, VT-x is available in the Intel instruction set (CPU-z and Intel Processor Identification Utility).
How can I turn both virtualization and VT-x on at the same time ???

It would help if you provide the Product name or the Product number for you notebook.
HP does not manufacture any 16" notebooks.
From the Intel i7-10750h processor web page and my own knowledge, VT-x is virtualization. They are one and the same
Intel® Virtualization Technology (VT-x)
"With virtualization turned on in BIOS, VT-x is not available in the Intel instruction set (CPU-z and Intel Processor Identification Utility).
With virtualization turned off in BIOS, VT-x is available in the Intel instruction set (CPU-z and Intel Processor Identification Utility)."
That does not actually make sense to me.
Turn on VT-x in the BIOS and install VirtualBox to verify that it works.
Don't worry about the CPU-Z and processor identification utility. Virtualization will either work or it won't.

Trying to get VirtualBox to run is what led me to this problem. It given an error that VT-x is not available.
When I turned of virtualization in BIOS, there was no VT-x issue, but VirtualBox said virtualization was turned off.
Thus, my previous comment. Probably a bug in the BIOS.

Yours is definitely the first 16" notebook I have ever heard of.
You may be right about the BIOS having a bug in this case.
I suggest checking the VirtualBox forum to see if others have run into the same issue and perhaps found a workaround.
