Product: Pavilion x360 13-u104tu
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I searched on crucial website for upgrading RAM, and they showed me a couple of compatible options one of which was CRUCIAL CT8G4SFS824A. But when i tried ordering it on Amazon or Flipkart many reviews showed that they are being shipped crucial RAM with the model number CB8GS2400, so will that be compatible with my laptop as I found this RAM i.e CB8GS2400 only listed on crucial website but noting about it's compatibility.

That is a good question. 

 

Did the reviewers say the memory worked or not in the PC's they installed it in?

 

The reason I ask is because the CB8GS2400 is the Crucial Basics memory.

 

It should work, but you should also expect to get the memory part number you ordered.

 

When you google that part number, I have found that it costs more than the CT8G4SFS824A memory.

Thanks for the response. I contacted crucial about this issue and they said that in certain markets such as India, Turkey, South America etc they sell it through resellers which includes this model no i.e cb8gs2400. They said there's no difference between the two.

Anytime I have ordered Crucial memory, I have gotten the part number that I ordered, no substitutions.
