hi there
my laptop is victus ryzen 8645hs and 4050 gpu
the problem is it is always restart by its own, i dont heavy duty on it, just some pdfs, even if i just let it alone and the screen gets black the moment i touch it to work it just restart, i checked my event viewer and it says this this (kernal power 61 id)
The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first. This error could be caused if the system stopped responding, crashed, or lost power unexpectedly.
so i wanna talk to someone in warranty of hp or even some service here and cant do that, someone ease on me please
thanks

@HanyOver, Welcome to HP Support Community,
Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue
I'm sorry to hear about the issues you're experiencing with your HP Victus laptop. The error you are encountering, identified by Event ID 61 (Kernel-Power), generally indicates that the system has experienced an unexpected shutdown, which could be due to power-related problems. Here are some steps you can try to troubleshoot the issue:
Update Drivers and BIOS: Ensure that all your device drivers, including your GPU and chipset drivers, are up to date. Additionally, check if there is a BIOS update available for your Victus laptop on the HP support website.
Check for Overheating: Make sure that your laptop is not overheating. Clean any dust from the vents and ensure the cooling system is working properly.
Power Settings: Adjust your power settings to ensure that the laptop isn't trying to enter sleep or hibernate mode too quickly. You can manage this through the Control Panel under Power Options.
Hardware Check: If possible, run HP's hardware diagnostic tools to check the health of your existing hardware components.
Inspect Your Power Adapter and Battery: Ensure that your power adapter is functioning correctly and that your battery is properly seated.
Scan for Malware: Perform a full system scan to ensure there is no malware affecting your system stability.
I hope this helps.
Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.
Take care and have a good day.
