I hv a Hp omen which i bought last year. Since a few months i hv had this problem i chose to ignore it for a while, but now im irritated by it. My laptop's has a backlit keyboard with seperate led panels for wasd and etc. so basically my backlit thing isnt working in wasd panel. It very rarely sometimes turns on, its a light yellow color when turnt on it doesnt change to anything with omen command center. remains same. also it goes away after some time.

I reviewed your post and I understand that the backlight on the keyboard is not working for the WASD zone.
Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.
What is the product number of your computer?
Meanwhile, I recommend you uninstall the keyboard driver from the device manager and then restart the computer and check.
Here is how it is done.
- Type "Device Manager" into the search field to open the device manager console.
- Expand the node that represents the type of device that you want to uninstall, right-click the device entry, and click Uninstall.
- On the Confirm Device Removal dialog box, click OK to start the uninstall process.
- When the uninstall process is complete, remove the device.
NOTE: On the Confirm Device Removal dialog box, click the Delete the driver software for this device option to delete the driver package that was used for the device.
Let me know how it goes and you have a great day!

Thank you for the update.
I recommend you update the below drivers and check if it helps.
BIOS: https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp108501-109000/sp108803.exe
Uninstall HP Omen command center from the computer and then download and install HP Event Utility and Omen command center from Microsoft store.
