Pretty much nothing can be upgraded.

Yours is an entry level model notebook with a processor that is not socketed and memory also not upgradeable.

You could theoretically install a solid state drive and achieve some improvement but a decent sized SSD would cost about $125 and a 500 gig about $175 and that money would better be applied to a new laptop.

so would the best option be to look for a new model....

Yeah I am not going to try to sugar coat. That is a very very weak computer. Sell it to someone who needs a laptop for a kid or an elderly person and get something stronger, which would be almost anything.

thank you for your time however i mustask, after a factory reset to this computer can i sell it right afterwards?

No reason why not if you can find a buyer. Craigslist or eBay is a good place to sell a laptop. Might be worth maybe $125-150
