what docking station can i use with my HP Pavilion dv7 Notebook ? is there a HP Notebook QuickDock that will work ?

Sorry, but there are none that will work particularly well -- with that amounts to a 12-year old laptop model.

 

Business PCs have proprietary docking connectors and those work very well with specific docking stations.

 

Consumer laptops do not have such connectors and you have to use USB ports.  The newer laptops have USB 3.0 ports and those work reasonably well with paired docking stations, but not as well as the Business PCs.  Older laptop have USB 2.0 ports and those work poorly, if at all.  Plus, most of the docking stations sold today have USB 3.0 cables, and while those will work with the older PCs, you have the same terrible performance issues.
