what does it mean by 8 gb ddr4-2400 sdram (1 x 8 gb), 16 gb intel® optane™ memory

I am looking for a laptop for my daughter and on model# 15-da0085cl it says under ram "8 gb ddr4-2400 sdram (1 x 8 gb), 16 gb intel® optane™ memory". Not sure what this means?
