Hi:

 

Your notebook has a M.2 slot that supports SATA SSD's only, not NVMe.

 

See chapter 1 of the service manual for the supported drive types:

Hi,

You can replace the 2.5" Mechanical drive with a 2.5" SATA3 SSD

You can check if the M2 slot is available in the machine and install an M2 SATA3 SSD (not PCIe NVMe)

they will both run about the same speed.
