slots cannot be changed it because it is added to your MOBO, just RAM can be up gradable, if this solve your doubts, please mark as solution accepted

All these people talking. I do not really understand what they are saying.

Max RAM for your machine is 16GB of DDR3L 1600MHz (2x8GB) even if service manual mentions 12GB.

You can purchase from your preferred brand

On page 47 of service manual you can see the steps to replace the RAM

You should also consider replacing the 2.5" Hard Drive with a 2.5" SSD such as the Crucial MX500 or similar which would give a great boost to everyday performance of the PC.
