I would like to know what is the power rating of the USB C port of my laptop. What can i use it for apart for charging cell phones and USB pen drives? Can i attach a USB C hub and use it for LAN input (RJ 45) or for an hdmi out for a projector?

You cannot charge this Model through the USB Port Type-C. You need to use the AC Adapter
You can charge other devices like Mobiles, smart Watches etc through the Port.
This Notebook uses USB Type-C port; USB 3.1 Gen 1. Type -C ports can deliver max up to 5 A Current, 20 V Voltage and max 100 W power
Thank you

The USB Type-C port on your Notebook is not a Thunderbolt port. So you will not be able to use it as a Display Output
It is used for high speed data transfer.

That does not really answer what i asked....i thought i would receive a numerical answer!
One more thing, do you mean the ONLY use of this port is data transfer?
Can i use the port to charge the laptop and if i do will the AC power adapter get priority or the usb c port
Why can i not add a dock like this
