I'm trying to upgrade my laptop storage with an additional m.2, I think I saw an "M" key slot there, but correct me if I'm wrong, also I'm looking for the PCIe gen for my model, if someone can inform me that would be so helpful.

You can add M.2 NVMe SSD to your machine, it supports PCIe 3x4. You can install PCIe 4 to your machine but it won't run at PCIe 4 speed.
