recently i got a hp compaq la2205 so that i can plug my ps3 into it when i bought it i thought the dp was the hdmi and now i cant plug my ps3 to it is there any adappters i could buy for what and where can i buy it??

Hi:

 

You can use either a HDMI to DVI cable, or a HDMI to Display Port cable.

 

The LA2205wg monitor has  DVI and Display Port inputs, as well as VGA.

 

I have the same monitor as well.

 

Either cable is readily available on Amazon.
