Have you tried using Zoom settings?

That is the best test I know for a webcam.

Invoke the Device Manager.

Hold down the Windows key and tap the X key one time.

Use the down arrow to select Device manager and then click on it

You should see  a Cameras device icon right below the Bluetooth device.

Click on the arrow pointing to the right to expand the device. Right click on the icon that is in the expanded list.

What does it say in the General tab under Device status?

You can find the Windows driver for the hP webcam in the Microsoft update catalog.

Try as many as you want to. The list is long.

Only the correct one will work.  None of the others will be permitted to do anything.
