Battery 4-cell, 41-Whr, 2.8-Ah Li-ion battery 919701-850
HP will no longer stock it. You have to go to a 3rd party source. I would not summarily reject a "compatible" battery but it appears you can get a genuine one for not much of a price premium. This is a very common battery used in many models so a good supply out there:
No need for instructions this is a clip in and out "external" battery which makes it easy. Post back with any other questions and please accept as solution if this is the info you needed.
