Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

the battery of my laptop seems to be out of order.

It shows 100% when I try to charge it but the laptop turns off when I unplug the charger.
I did a battery test with HP Hardware Diagnostic and the result is

- logical status = weak

- charging status = unavailable

The information that I found on this tool is the following :

DeviceName = TE03061
Manufacturer = 313-54-31
SerialNumber = 4331 11/10/2016
Capacity = 61,792 Wh
Voltage = 11,55 V
Chemistry = LION

Can you please help confirming that the battery needs to be replaced ?

What reference to use, I found on internet TE03061 or TE03061XL ?

Where can I buy a new and authentic HP battery ?

Thanks for your help

We need to see the full advanced results of the battery test but yes it appears you likely need a new battery. 5.5 years old is an old battery. The full test results will make it 100% clear. We need the model number of the laptop to find your correct battery replacement part and then can find out if HP has one in stock or if we need to look to 3rd party sources for a genuine battery. Almost certainly can find one for you if needed.
