Product: HP Notebook - 15-bs053od
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

have a HP Notebook - 15-bs053od, and using Widows 10. Lost PW and took to Best Buy Geek Squad to re-install Windows 10 after letting the computer set for about 1 1/2 - 2 years.  After about 1-2 months I opened it up and transfered a lot of the files from another computer running on Windows 10. It ran fine. After about a week the battery was not charging and showing a "0" charge. I came to HP and had a check on the battery. The results came back as "0".  So I want to try buying a new replacement battery for the computer. Having trouble finding a reliable company to buy an HP replacement battery. 

Is there anyone out there who can advise me as to where I can get one? If you have 2 or 3 I might try would be great and I will be grateful for your help. ths9

The battery part number and description is:

 

919700-850
Battery 3C 31Whr 2.8Ah LI JC

 

HP does not sell the battery you need, so what I recommend you do is to go on Amazon or eBay, search by the HP battery part number and find a compatible aftermarket battery that references that part number.

 

Below is the link to the service manual where you can find the battery removal and replacement procedure.
