Trying to upgrade from a 250GB to a 1TB ssd. Want to be sure I am ordering the correct part. The machine I'm trying to update is a hp pavilion -15t-au100 CTO laptop. Not sure but think a "HP EX900 Pro NVMe M.2 SSD 1TB PCIe 3.0 2280 3D NAND Internal Solid State Hard Drive Disk 2250 MB/s for Laptop/Desktop PC - 9XL77AA#ABA" should do it. Can anyone help?

The 15t-au100 model series does not support NVMe SSD's.

If your notebook came with a 256 GB M.2 SSD, it is a SATA drive.

Below is the link to the service manual:

You need a SATA SSD like this...

Amazon.com: Western Digital 1TB WD Blue SA510 SATA Internal Solid State Drive SSD - SATA III 6 Gb/s,...

Thanks Paul! The last part of your email (your suggested SSD) did not get to me but I did find the correct SSD. I appreciate your help. It was great!
