Windows 10 Pro for Workstations is a different product than plain Windows 10 Pro. So how did you get the W10 for Workstations? You will have to pay for the upgrade. A laptop is not really suitable for that version of the OS. You can download Windows 10 Pro (plain) for free from Microsoft. If the laptop is licensed for Pro it will install without a Key Code.

what part do you want to upgrade?

Windows 10 1909 to 2004 and also how do find your product number for my Window pro to activate the workstation

HP Recommended

You do not need one. The Key Code is embedded in a chip on the motherboard and the Microsoft activation servers so no Key Code needed. You can reinstall the original OS any time, even onto a new hard drive. I would not be in a big hurry to upgrade to 2004 as it has issues still.
