why my interface is showing gen 1x2 and link speed of my port is 8gt/s and current link speed is 2.5gt/s why sometime it support 8gt/s but maximum times it shows 2.5gt/s why is 980 samsung is too much for my laptop or this is the issue with pcie lanes my motherboard is fully saturated all slots are full dual channel ram hard disk and now ssd. when it shows 2.5gt/s it give 400mb/s read write and when it shows 8gt/s it gives 1580 mb/s read and 1280 mb/s write so why this is happening my laptop support nvme so if it gives 1500mb/s im fully satisfied but why it gives 400mb/s lower than sata ssd.

HWInfo64 is showing you the maximum possible specification bandwidth numbers based on the processor architecture and chipset associated with the specific Ryzen processor your notebook has.
It does not show the real implementation of the specification by computer hardware engineers developed for your specific hardware configuration.

I have known my exact issue about 7-8 days of googling i know the exact problem but don't know the reason why it happens when I'm boot laptop in plugged in it gives me maximum speed 8gt/s and when I'm boot my laptop in battery it gives 2.5gt/s why some article say my laptop pcie bus is dynamic my processor ryzen 2200u it has 12 lanes pcie 8 igpu and 2 for nvme 1 lan and 1 wifi. so tell me any tweaks to make speed always 8gt/s on battery also.

The reason the performance changes when it is plugged in is very likely to be the performance settings in the BIOS.
Change the setting to high performance and that should no longer happen.
Your notebook is probably set to a default energy saving setting to ensure that you get a longer battery use time.
