i am only able to connect to 2.4 GHz WiFi and there is no 5ghz option im assuming this is because my WiFi card does not support it so is there a WiFi card out there compatible with my laptop that i can use to get 5ghz and if possible Bluetooth as well?

Hi:

Yes, there is one card you can upgrade to, and that is this one...

Realtek RTL8821CE 802.11 ac 1x1 WiFi + Bluetooth 4.2 Combo Adapter (MU-MIMO supported)
HP part # L17365-005.

This card works with only one antenna cable like your current wifi adapter does.

The only place I have been able to find this model is on eBay.

Will this allow me to use 5 GHz Network? If so I'll purchase it right now, or is this only give me Bluetooth and 2.4ghz wifi?

HP Recommended

Yes it will work on both the 5.0 and 2.4 GHz wifi bands.

With an AC router on the 5.0 GHz wifi band, the card will have a maximum throughput of 433 MBPS.

With a dual band wireless N router on the 5.0 GHz wifi band, the card will have a maximum throughput of 150 MBPS.

On the 2.4 GHz wifi band, the card will have a maximum throughput of 72 MBPS.
