Update KB5050094 has installed itself and I could no longer use my printer from apps (word, excel) or even start HP smart. I have tried to reinstall HP smart but I just get a white screen. When I uninstall the windows update, HP smart app and I can print again... Hope this helps others experiencing printer issues since end of jan/beginning of feb

To address this issue, you might consider the following steps:
Uninstall the KB5050094 Update:
- Navigate to Settings > Windows Update > Update history.
- Click on Uninstall updates.
- Locate KB5050094 in the list, select it, and choose Uninstall.
Pause Windows Updates:
- After uninstalling, you can pause updates temporarily to prevent the update from reinstalling automatically.
- Go to Settings > Windows Update.
- Click on Pause for 1 week (or longer, if available).
Reinstall the HP Smart App:
- Uninstall the current version of the HP Smart app:
- Go to Settings > Apps > Installed apps.
- Find HP Smart, select it, and click Uninstall.
- Reinstall the app from the Microsoft Store.
