It happened that I had to reinstall win7 64 clean on my Pavilion 15
after that I thought I will go to support.hp.com and get all the drivers needed
nope, didn't happened
I'm entering my Product Name K9F05AV, it detects correctly and shows my laptop and lists all the WRONG DRIVERS
for example, it lists "Realtek RTL8723BE/RTL8188EE 802.11b/g/n Wireless LAN Drivers" when, in fact, ny laptop has an Intel WiFi chip
so, any chance I could get a correct drivers? I need at least USB 3.0, Ethernet and device manager showing some unknown device with ACPI/HPQ6007 ID
but I would appreciate correct links to ALL the drivers for my laptop
thank you in advance

Hi:
You can probably manually install the device as follows...
Go to the device manager, click on the unknown 6007 device.
Click on the driver tab, click on Update driver.
Select the Browse my computer for driver software option, and browse to the driver folder that was created when you ran the file.
That folder will be located in C:\SWSetup\sp76484.
Make sure the Include Subfolders box is checked, and see if the driver installs that way.
Then restart the PC.

Hi:
I would think most of the drivers on the support page should be working...audio, graphics, most of the chipset drivers, which by the way, the 6007 needs the first driver listed under the chipset driver section -- HP 3D Driveguard Software (HP ProtectSmart Hard Drive Protection)
Here is the USB3 driver...download, unzip and run the setup application.
Ethernet...if for some unusual reason the one on the support page doesn't work, use the one directly from Realtek...download, unzip and run the setup application from the W7 driver at the link below...
Go to Intel's website and get the driver you need for the model wifi card your notebook has.
It probably has bluetooth too, so get that one as well.

Paul, thank you for quick response
USB3.0 in place
don't need the 3Dguard since I switched to SSD
Realtek's website is funky, when I'm trying to download anything from your link it takes me to http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/
and I really miss the on-screen display when I'm changing brightness or sound volume 😞

it gets even funnier
I'm trying to install Intel Rapid Stortage Technology from the same page on support.hp.com. It crashes saying that I need .NET framework 4.5. and I have 4.7 installed through windows updates
oh, the irony

You're very welcome.
See if this version of the on screen display utility works for your model.
This package provides the HP On-Screen Display Utility for the supported notebook models and operating systems. The HP On-Screen Display Utility enables the pop-up graphic displays that are shown on the screen when certain characteristics, such as volume or brightness, are changed.

The Intel RST software really isn't needed unless you are setting up a RAID array.
Since the drive controller in your model is set to AHCI, you can't set up a RAID array.
If you still can't get the Realtek driver to install, let me know, I will will find an alternative.
Let me know what generation intel core processor your notebook has.

once again, thank you. this time for the OnScreen
the problem with Ethernet is that i have no idea which chip is on board (and if it is a Realtek at all. I thought I have a Realtek wifi, but it turned out I don't)
if I'd knew - I think I'd have drivers by now 😞

It's supposedly a Realtek chip...10/100 fast ethernet.
Try this driver, and if it also doesn't work, post the hardware ID's for any devices that still need drivers.
That is how you find out who makes the device and what model it is.
Use this guide for how to find the hardware ID.

This package provides the driver for the Realtek Ethernet Controller in the supported notebook/laptop models and operating systems.

a-ha
from what I've got, the ethernet is Realtek PCIe FE Family Controller PCI\VEN_10EC&DEV_8136&SUBSYS_8093103C&REV_0A
and their funky download page is just so badly written it only works in IE (and looks like it was written in a year 1998. magnificient design)
got that in place, thanks
from what I can search, I have to install and then disable the DriveGuard to get rid of unknown device ACPI\HPQ6007
will try it right now
