Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

suddenly the shift key and the zxc  along with control copy functions are not working. tried updating the drivers, uninstalling them also updating to latest bios and no change at all. Only the onscreen layout is working

HI @Neetha 

I recommend that you use the HP Hardware Diagnostics utility components section to test the keyboard. You can also temporarily plug  a USB into one of the ports to test those specific keys.

 

From an off state, press the power button and immediately start tapping the F2 key to invoke the HP Hardware Diagnostics utility. Once it starts up you can select components and on the components page select keyboard and run the test.

HP Recommended

Yes i ran the pc hardware diagnostic component test > keyboard test. Still these three keys and shift key isn't responding. Even tried resetting pc.
