Hi @Adnan_Abass,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Sorry for the inconvenience caused don’t worry let me help you.

Troubleshooting steps you can try :

1. Check what’s using the disk

  • Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc → open Task Manager
  • Click the Disk column to sort by usage
Note which process stays at the top (for example: System, Windows Update, Antimalware Service, etc.)

2. Disable unnecessary startup programs

  • In Task Manager → go to Startup
  • Disable apps you don’t need at boot (leave Microsoft items enabled)
  • Restart the laptop

3. Temporarily stop Windows Search (common cause)

  • Press Windows + R, type services.msc, press Enter
  • Find Windows Search
  • Right-click → Stop
  • See if disk usage improves

4. Update Windows & drivers

  • Go to Settings → Windows Update
  • Install all pending updates
  • Also check HP Support Assistant for driver updates

I hope this helps.
