Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

My 2018 laptop won't turn on. I've been told it is either a motherboard or battery problem. Are HP able to fix this expired model with such a problem?

The short answer is NO -- HP does not do repairs on used equipment.  It will do repairs under the warranty, but that has to be because of a hardware defect and my guess is that a five year old laptop, unless you bought consecutive 3-year warranty packs, is not covered anymore.
