Hi @Solomon29,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

To help us understand the 00A error on your HP 248 G1, please provide the following details:

  • What is the complete error message displayed on the screen? Please share a clear picture if possible.
  • When does the error appear: immediately after powering on, before Linux loads, or while using the computer?
  • Does the notebook start normally after the message, or is it unable to boot?
  • Were any hardware components, such as the system board, memory, storage drive, or battery, recently replaced?
  • Were any BIOS settings changed, or was the BIOS recently updated?
  • Are there any blinking LED patterns or beep codes?

HP lists a specific System board (00A) troubleshooting topic for this model, but we need the complete message and symptoms to determine the appropriate steps.

Please do not share the serial number publicly.

Take care and have an amazing day!

I'm an HP Employee.
