2570p Bios Admin Password

Hello,

To enable a Bios Password on my 2570p I had to make an Admin password, but I don't seem to remember it (it's weird because I would have made a easy to remember password that I used on that computer).

I still have acces to the user I created to launch the computer but I wanted to install Linux Manjaro on it but I need to enable/disable some option in the bios and with the non admin user I can't do that.

How can I recover my admin password ?

If you have no idea can someone say me the condition to make that admin password ? (Number, Uppercase, Special symbole, number of character minimal etc...)

You will have to contact HP technical support for assistance with obtaining a SMC.bin file for your PC.

It won't let me call them because the computer doesn't have a guarantee anymore and there is no way to contact them by email. That's is so pre-2000 like support 😕
