2710P
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Are there any plans for making drivers for HP 2710P laptop compatible for Windows 10 Pro (64-bits)?

Hi,

I upgraded its cousin (2740p) to Windows 10 64bit (from Windows 7 Professional 64bit) on weekend and no problem at all.

Regards.

I upgraded my 2740p as well, and while everything went fine, I am finding some gotchas.  Because there are no HP provided drivers, some things do not work well.  For example, the graphics driver does not let Minecraft run because there is no Open GL support.  The crazy thing is if I run an Ubuntu VM in Vmware Workstation on Windows 10 on the 2740p, Minecraft runs just fine.  So we DEFINITELY need driver updates that are optimized and preferred for Windows 10, especially in the graphics realm.

Hi! Just for anyone to know, I've been using my hp 2710p tablet pc with windows 10 since about a year and a half ago.. Thereis some missing drivers, The PCI serial something, and the other one PCI that I cant remember the name.. thats why I'm here I got the time to search for those missing drivers.. So yeah.. It's working great, just updated to the latest build of windows 10 pro.. but It adds another missing driver, the base system device that I'm currently searcing.

Among the problems I've mention, the fingerprint scanner and the volume slider is'nt working. well i'm not using it anyway you can adjust volume in the taskbar. that's all.. everything is working great, windows 10 gives new life to this really old laptop(10 years?).. I'm using this as a drawing tablet in photoshop CC without any problem.. I just endure the sluggishness when I paint large brushes.  Ask me if you have problem with your hp2710p, via facebook maybe. Search my name Ferdinand Libertes Tugano.
