Can I add another 4 ram of memory to make it a total of 12 ram memory

Hi:

 

Below is the link to the service manual for your notebook.

 

The memory upgrade info can be found in chapter 1.

 

You can install a max of 2 x 8 GB of memory in your notebook.

If you want to install another 4 GB of memory to the 8 GB chip in there now that would be fine, but the memory will run in the lower performing single channel mode.

 

Better to install memory in matching capacities (2 x 4 GB, 2 x 8 GB), so the memory runs in the higher performing dual channel mode.
