@Shashikant6626, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding BIOS downgrade!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

I understand your situation with the BIOS update and needing specific files to downgrade your BIOS to version 84A7. Unfortunately, HP generally does not support BIOS downgrading as it may lead to issues with your computer's performance or hardware compatibility. This is especially important if the newer version contains important security updates or enhancements. The downloadable BIOS update files provided on HP's support site typically include necessary installation files for upgrading, but downgrading may not be possible or supported.

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!

Than why my nvme is not getting detected. I tried to plug into other systems my nvme is working perfectly fine but when I am connecting it to my hp laptop my nvme is not getting detected after bios update. Please let me know how to get it detected.

@Shashikant6626, Welcome back to the HP Support Community! 🌸

I can imagine how frustrating it must feel — you can almost hear the NVMe drive spinning in your head, but your laptop just refuses to see it after the BIOS update. Thank you for sharing your exact model, that really helps us narrow things down.

For your HP 15g-dtr0006tx, BIOS downgrades are generally locked for stability and security reasons, which is why you don’t see the .bin or .sig files you were expecting. The missing NVMe detection is more likely tied to settings inside the BIOS rather than the downgrade itself. Could you please try these steps:

Enter BIOS Setup → Restart your laptop and press Esc + F10.

Load Setup Defaults → Press F9, then save and exit with F10.

Under Storage Options, make sure UEFI mode is enabled (not Legacy).

Also check if RST/RAID is turned off — NVMe drives usually work best with AHCI.

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
