I have bought new Hp pavilion series laptop from store.I just wanted to know that :-

Should i perform task of creating recovery media before activating windows or after activating windows on my new notebook? Which option is better?

As previously stated, it doesn't matter if before or after activation. The key is that sooner is better. The sooner it is done , the less chance of an issue to occur before the HP Recovery Media gets created.

Hi,

Firstly you don't need to activate Windows, it will activate automatically. You can create Recovery media anytime given the Recovery drive stays the same, but sooner is better.

Regards.

Yea, windows get activated automatically on connecting to Internet but I haven't connected my notebook to Internet yet.so I am just asking should I just connect to Internet first or can create recovery media first?
