First: This Pavilion TS15 was purchased in Australia, before a move to present locale in the UK.
Second: Previous operating system was Windows 8.1 OEM, which is now upgraded to Windows 10 Pro, 64-bit
This is the message I get every time I start up or re-boot the laptop;
I have made 5 attempts by following advice (some successful for other users) on this board for a fix to this problem - all without success. The only way to get rid of the problem is to uninstall "HP 3D DriveGuard" completely, and do without it - something I am unwilling to risk..
I have uninstalled the application, rebooted the laptop, cleaned the registry of files left from each uninstall,rebooted, and reinstalled the application using the recommended install file "hp.com sp67280.exe - (18.2MB)".
I'm now wondering what to do next to fix the issue.
Cheers, Gander60

Hi DP-K,
Finally, success.
I followed your instructions, resulting in a successful install of HP 3D DriveGuard version 6.0.41.1.
To confirm system and application installation stability, I tested the application by rebooting the laptop three times in succession - Result: No error messages appeared after each new start-up.
Thanks for your assistance and guidance. Job well done.

Couple of days ago I had the exact same problem with my Pavilion 17 notebook (OS W10 v 1607, Build 14393-1715) It started occuring immediately after an update : "HP Development Company, L.P. - System - 9/23/2016 12:00:00 AM - 6.0.19.1" Initially, I just clicked OK and everythig was fine. Then I decided to check my accelerometer driver. So I opened Device Manager, went into Systems, then into HP Mobile Data Protection Sensor. Clicked on the driver tab and sure enough found that the driver had been updated. I rolled back the driver to the previous version. Restarted. I no longer get the error message on starting. The only problem is that HP will try to reinstall the update. But, I will deal with it at that time.
