So, the fixer was not an official hp worker(as there are no hp center in my city).

I don't have a receipt and i think there was a problem with the processor as my pc was not booting when i hit the power button.

You are sure right? It will work without any problem. Im afraid of losing the key that I have.

I've done it many times.  Never had a problem.

Write the W7 product key down if you want.

It's your only option to get 64 bit on there.

Or you will have to leave it be.

The showkey plus utility should have shown a W8 OEM product key in the BIOS and since it didn't, I have no idea what happened to it.

Hello again, it tells me that "Windows cannot be installed to this disk. The selected disk is not of the GPT partition style". Does it have the potential to create a problem if i format disk and convert it to GPT via CMD?

Or should i use MBR2GPT method?

HP Recommended

Hi:

That should work fine.

Do you know how to use the diskpart command from within the installation process?

You can clean the disk and start fresh.

Or you can boot your USB flash drive from the Legacy USB boot options.

It worked. Thank you very much.

Anytime.

Glad to have been of assistance.
